Unless you can't already tell…this going to be a mighty silly story, enjoy! ~~~~ (The Shrine) MacCousin walked into the shrine shielding a small black videocassette against her body. She walked into the videoroom to find Sukh and several other addicts drooling as they watched 'A More Permanent Hell'. She paused a moment, transfixed by the magnetic ice-filled eyes and sighed. Sukh eventually shook the MacCousin awake. "Is that what I think it is?" Sukh whispered. "Uh…huh," replied MacCousin softly. "We'll sneak into my room and watch it." They started down the long corridor of rooms. "We'd better be quiet this time," said Sukh. The HP had almost walked in the last time, incensed at the loud noise. Sukh closed the door and locked it, as MacCousin picked up her cat, Lucius, off the TV and placed the tape in the combination TV/VCR. The addicts snatched their handy drool cups and began watching the show. Their eyes glazed over. ~~~~ (A few minutes later) "Mmmm, look at that butt," commented Sukh shaking her head in disbelief. MacCousin was speechless, drooling into her cup. "His eyes. Too gorgeous." "And his walk." "And the accent." "Awww," cooed the MacCousin. "Michael is having an emotion!" The gleeful pair swooned, unaware of the figure in black behind them, watching them with a jaded eye. "Oh look," said Sukh. "His eyes are green now." The MacCousin peered into the screen, scratching Lucius's chin. "No, they aren't," she commented. "Michael's eyes are blue." "Not now. His eyes are green now!" "Nope, they're blue." "Green." "Blue". "Green!" "His eyes are blue," said a voice behind them. MacCousin and Sukh froze. Lucius ran off the MacCousin's lap and hid under her bed. They turned around to see Nunkies watching them from the doorway. The two women shivered under his piercing glare. "Exactly what is going on here?" asked LaCroix. "Nothing," squeaked the women, trying to escape his eyes. They stared at the intricate pattern in the carpet. "We're soooo busted," murmured Sukh. "Oh you're quite right on that," Nunkies glared at Sukh. He turned his glare to the MacCousin. "How did you get this channel? The signal is scrambled." "Tape," squeaked MacCousin, glancing to the TV/VCR. LaCroix removed the tape from the VCR and then grabbed the two women by the arms. "The High Priestess is going to learn of this…" LaCroix paused then hissed, "treachery." "Are we gonna die?" whispered Sukh. "Perhaps," growled Nunkies. MacCousin saw her tape in his hand. "What about my tape?" she whined. LaCroix turned to MacCousin, his eyes blazing in cold blue fury. "It's always about you, isn't it?" He turned opened the High Priestess's office door. "D'oh," murmured Sukh and MacCousin apprehensively. They knew they were in for it now. "You're in, shall we shall, deep, *deep* d'oh now," clarified LaCroix. "What's going on?" asked Jules suspiciously. She looked from the sheepish Sukh to the infuriated vampire and then the fidgeting MacCousin. "They were watching this." Nunkies passed the tape to Jules. She put it in her own VCR and turned it on. As soon as Michael's image filled the screen, Jules turned off the tape and gave withering glares to the addicts. "Immediate grout duty!" the high priestess snarled. "Then get your toothbrushes, you're scrubbing the toilets. When you're done, report back to me. The sacred pool portrait of Screed needs to be removed". Sukh and MacCousin took off running for the door. Fear of the High priestess in their hearts. LaCroix jumped in front of them and stood in front of door, raising an eyebrow. "I'm not finished with you two, yet," The General said coldly. Nunkies began to walk around his addicts, staring at them as though they were mere flies he could crush into oblivion. He put his hands behind his back. "And why are you two so attracted to this mere mortal?" he asked with an eyebrow arched. "Super secret operative. We joined his harem," squealed MacHeather, staring at her feet, trying to escape the wrath in his eyes. Nunkies turned to the silent Sukh. "Nice butt," she squeaked in response. "I see," he answered coldly. "And where may I find this mortal with a…" he paused, "nice butt." "Section one," groveled the addicts. "And that is?" "Super secret covert anti terrorist organization," the women murmured in unison. LaCroix turned away from his addicts. "I see. You may go." "Thank you Nunkies, for not killing us." The addicts squeaked. "We'll never watch it in the shrine again," added the MacCousin "I may change my mind. See that it never happens again." LaCroix turned to his silently fuming High Priestess. "Oh they are soooo dead!" Jules thought to herself. "And this is the kind of activity you allow to go on in *my* shrine?" growled Nunkies. "It won't ever happen again," replied Jules, mentally cataloguing the chores she could assign to the rogue addicts. "See that it doesn't." The General walked out of her office. ~~~~ Part 2/2 and 'Obeyance' on it's way soon :) MacCousin Heather (heatherp@freewwweb.com) and (maccousin@hotmail.com) *Celtic Glowworm*NA*DT*UF* Keeper of the MacNunkies tapestry http://members.tripod.com/~maccousin/ and http://members.tripod.com/~celtic_glowworm/ CIP -- Cousin in Plaid Renegade Addicts 2/2 by Cousin Sukh and MacCousin Heather ~~~~ (Section One) LaCroix strode angrily into the building that housed section one. The guard opened his mouth to say something and LaCroix stared deeply into the guard's eyes. *th-thump, th-thump* "I have no need to show you a security pass," said LaCroix. "You have no need to show me a security pass," replied the security guard. "You will open the door." *th-thump, th-thump* "I will open the door," repeated the security, punching in the code. The door opened and LaCroix walked through the gate. "You can tell me to move along." Mortals were so easy to control. "Move along. Move along." LaCroix nodded and got onto the elevator. He stared at the numbers flashing across the elevator door, silently fuming. "Those renegade addicts," he grumbled. The elevator stopped. Michael walked into the elevator, to the opposite side of LaCroix. The two men began staring at each other in the universal male standoff position. LaCroix glared at the mortal across the elevator. Michael stared back at him, without any emotion. LaCroix cocked an eyebrow and continued staring at the mortal. The elevator stopped. Nikita walked onto the elevator. "Michael," she nodded in greeting. Nikita did a double take on the pale stranger. No this was not Petrosan. Michael did not answer. He continued staring at the pale stranger. Nikita began to sweat. She stared at the flashing numbers nervously. Nikita sneaked a look at the tall pale stranger and jumped off the elevator on the next floor. ~~~~~ Nikita walked over to Birkoff and shivered. "Who was that creepy guy in the elevator?" she asked Birkoff. "And how did he get past security?" Birkoff looked away from the screen. "What creepy guy?" "I don't know." Nikita walked to his side. "He's tall, really pale, has blue eyes and a buzzcut. He looks just like Petrosan." "Hmmmm," Birkoff entered the information into his computer. He brought up a list of likely suspects. "Do any of these look familiar." "That's him," Nikita pointed at LaCroix's picture. "Lucien LaCroix," answered Birkoff. He looked at Nikita. "It's a good thing you got off the elevator." "Why?" Birkoff adjusted the screen. "Here. Read this." "Oh," Nikita backed away from the screen. Disbelief colored her features. "Will Michael be okay?" "He'll let us know if needs any help." "Uhm, yeah," replied Nikita, unassuredly. She walked away from Birkoff. ~~~~ (Meanwhile back in the elevator) The staring contest continued. "You are LaCroix. I have a file on you," said Michael. Nunkies merely arched an eyebrow at the revelation. "I see. I've dealt with your kind before," he replied. "Exactly what are you doing with my addicts?" Michael's was startled for a split second, then his features became blank. "What?" LaCroix pulled out a Polaroid of the groveling Sukh and MacCousin. "These two ladies claim to be in your harem." Michael examined the picture. "Yes?" He showed no signs of recognition. "I caught them watching your show in my shrine." Michael nodded. "I see." "And what do you do about your renegade harem members? If they did the same to you?" "Obeyance," replied Michael. LaCroix grinned wickedly. "I do believe the next time this happens, and it will happen. It will be your turn to threaten them with obeyance. I take it you know people who can scare them without actual cancellation." "Yes," replied Michael, coldly. "Or I could handle it myself." "No, better that someone else does it." LaCroix nodded as the elevator stopped. "Until next time then." Michael nodded as he exited the elevator. ~~~~ Coming soon!!!
