Here are the rules for war 9. These are the ground rules for war 9. Please note that this is not the same thing as the premise for the war. The premise will be in the war mistress's opening post. These rules will be posted again on Fkfic-l before the war starts on April 25th. They will also be available on the war website and from mcdavid-lisa@sc.edu. 1. The war will be played in a friendly, courteous matter. The listowners reserve the right to terminate the war after a warning if there seems to be a problem with keeping the friendly atmosphere. 2. All the regular Fkfic-l rules apply to the war. NO talking on list. Coordination is done offlist. The Fkfic-l rules are posted each Monday. If you need a copy, write to mcdavid-lisa@sc.edu. 3. All posts must have the war: header, with colon. Mistakes happen, but persistently forgetting is grounds for removal from the war. If your mailer is one of those that changes colons to something else, get someone else to post for you. 3. All participants must file a permission slip with their faction leaders by midnight e.s.t. on April 18th. A list will be posted on April 24th, to allow time for corrections. Anyone who fails to send a permission slip before midnight e.s.t. on April 24th will not be able to participate or to be portrayed by other players. Lisa McDavid (mcdavid-lisa@sc.edu) will take the independent players' slips. 4. Posts are limited to three per 24 hrs. by each player. Administrative and war mistress posts are not counted in this rule. 5. If you want to use an FK character, permission must be obtained from the leader(s) of the character's primary faction, who are responsible for keeping the character's schedule. The primary faction means the oldest established. For LaCroix, this is the Cousins. For Nick this is the Knighties. Leaders must grant permission unless the time is already given to someone else. This rule applies to faction headquarters and objects connected with a character and which do not have their own faction. Note: The Perks haven't opted to play as a group in this war, so by default the Dark Perks control Tracy. If the Perks do decide to play as a group, the Dark Perks will keep control because all the planning by the leaders has gone on with the assumption that they would be in control. 6. If you want to use someone as a character, whether or not it's an attack, you must obtain that person's permission. You don't have to say why you want to portray that person at that time and place. Consent is up to the person who is asked. 7. Have fun! Cousin Lisa McDavid "That will be trouble." mcdavid-lisa@sc.edu or d020214@vm.sc.edu Listowner Fkfic-l, Fkv4s-l; Forkni-l
