As the storms of 1999 tore up the American east coast, Edie challenged the UF discussion list:

"With the Big Bad Hurricane Floyd flooding people out their homes and doing so much damage, all the wind and water surrounding a hot core- reminds me of Lacroix!
   "So, how about poetry, story or filk about the Sexy Ones and storms- I will put out a little bit of my own tomorrow- join in the fun!"
