This was originally posted to The Raven Awards and is my first posted story. It was suggested (Hi Portia) that I post it here, for the benefit of the NNPackers. If you like it please let me know. (Also if you hate it, but *please* be gentle!) I'd love feedback; it might
give me the courage to post all the other stories I have lying around on discs. Besides Portia, I'd also like to thank Shirl, who constantly encourages me to post my stories and who is a wonderful friend!
This involves M/F N&N sex, so if this isn't your cup of tea better skip this one. Permission to archive is given to the JADFE site and anyone else who thinks it's worth it. Just drop me a line please.
I don't own the FK characters I'm just borrowing them for a little playtime. Wish I did though, because it seems to me that whoever does own them really can't like them all that much to have ended the show the way they did!
Thanks, Trace

"Well, Nat, whatcha think?" Tracy Vetter asked.
"Trace... this just *isn't* me. I'd be humiliated if anyone I knew saw me dressed like this," Natalie Lambert responded.
"By *anyone* you mean Nick, right? Well you know he won't be back from that conference for two more days. And you look great!"
Nat did know. That was how she had gotten herself into this mess in the first place. He'd been gone for eight days and she was bored and lonely. Nick's partner had noticed and decided to take it upon herself to keep Natalie's mind occupied until he got back. At first she had been looking forward to going out, then Tracy had suggested that Nat's clothes were too "reserved" and she needed to get something that would 'blend in' with the crowds. Nat suspected that "reserved" actually translated "frumpy" and had agreed to let Tracy choose the outfit she would wear. That was proving to be a mistake.
Tracy continued to encourage her. "Come on, loosen up, have a little fun. God knows you deserve it!"
"Okaay," Nat responded doubtfully. "I hope I don't regret this."

Nick unloaded his luggage from the trunk of his Caddy. The conference had been terribly boring, and he'd decided to come home early. He'd also missed Nat and was looking forward to seeing her.
The first thing he did as soon as the lift door opened was head to the phone, calling the morgue. When he discovered that she'd booked off for the evening he called her apartment. She wasn't there either. Feeling a little depressed and hurt that she wasn't just sitting around waiting for him, he decided to go to the Raven. 'At least I won't be alone there,' he told himself.

"Nat, do you mind if we stop by the Raven?" Tracy asked a bit timidly. The Raven definitely wasn't for everyone and she was sure it wasn't her companion's kind of place.
Groaning Natalie said, "Trace, the Raven's the *last* place I want to go! The owner and I aren't exactly on the best of terms."
Tracy was a little surprised that Natalie knew Lacroix, but didn't want to pry into personal matters. "We'll just be there a minute. I need to see a friend about something. I *promise* we'll only stay for one drink," she reassured Nat.
"Sure. I knew I'd regret this!"
"Look, we're going to have a great time," Tracy declared.
"I keep telling myself that," Nat responded.
Tracy shook her head and sighed. She was beginning to think that Natalie was determined *not* to have a good time.

The Raven's parking lot was packed, as usual, but Tracy managed to find a space close to the door and pulled her car into it. She and Natalie got out and entered the club. Trace noticed that Nat clutched her long leather coat around her as they made their way to a table.
At the bar, Vachon noticed the pair and headed toward them, catching them before they sat down. "Hey Trace!" he called.
"Vachon!" she beamed. "Have you seen Urs?"
"Urs?" he asked, a little hurt. "No, she and the owner, Lacroix are out of town for a few days... for some *relaxation*." He grinned.
"Oh," Tracy began, "I wanted to..."
"Did you just say that Lacroix's out of town?" Natalie interrupted.
"Yeah... won't be back until Monday."
Turning to her friend with a huge smile she said, "Lacroix and I don't get along very well, but since he's not around... we *could* just stay here. I've always wondered what your partner finds so fascinating about this place."
"Um, Nat... I'm not sure that's a good idea," Tracy said, a little worried. After all, Natalie didn't know this was a vampire bar and probably wouldn't believe it anyway, which could put her in serious danger. Trace was fairly sure that if she let anything happen to his
'friend', Nick would be highly upset and would blame her, which would be a bad thing. After all, people didn't call him 'Knightmare' for nothing. 'Still,' she rationalized, 'Vachon's here, so we should be safe.' The though of Vachon needing to stay close to protect them was
definitely appealing. "Oh, okay... why not."
As they reached the table Natalie took one more look around to make sure there wasn't anyone in the club she recognized, the removed her coat. Vachon's jaw dropped when he saw what was under it.

Nick finally found a parking place in a far off corner of the lot, which suited him fine. It was dark there and the view was blocked from the street, so no one would notice it was his car, or so he hoped. As he was entering the club he happened to notice Tracy was there. "Must be here to see Vachon," he muttered, scowling. He would have to have another *chat* with the Spaniard. The last thing he wanted was for Tracy to get hurt. 'She's so naive,' he thought.
Pushing roughly past the crowd at the door he went in, scanning the room for his blonde partner. When he spotted her talking to Vachon, his eyes were immediately drawn to her female companion. He stood still, spellbound, until he noticed the predatory looks on the faces of some of the other males in the room. A surge of possessive pride tinged with jealousy ran through him and, allowing instinct to take over, he stalked toward the trio.

The two women watched Vachon's reaction, Natalie blushing and Tracy laughing. "WOW!" was all he could say. His eyes roamed her body, which was encased in very tight black leather pants and a tight, dark red stretch tank top. She also wore leather ankle boots with spike heels.
"Tracy picked it out. I was afraid it would just make me look silly. This makes me look like a 'biker chick', and I'm not really the type," Natalie worried.
"*Believe* me, you don't look silly," Vachon reassured her, causing Tracy a twinge of jealousy. Facing the pair, who had their backs to the crowd, he noticed someone heading their way. 'Oh God,' he thought when he saw the face, 'it's Knight.' Before he could say anything Nick made a gesture indicating he was to keep quiet so instead Vachon kept
his face blank and asked, "Has Knight seen it yet? I've noticed he seems to like leather!"
"Yeah, and doesn't he have a bike?" Tracy chimed in.
"Yes he has a bike, but I've never seen him ride it. And no, I'd *never* have the courage to wear something like this around him... or anyone else in the department for that matter," Natalie replied, blushing again at the thoughts that were running through her head.
"Anyway, he's out of town for a conference and isn't due back until tomorrow."
A voice, low and husky, came from behind her, whispering in her ear. "Actually, I came home a day early," it said as cool, strong, familiar arms slipped around her waist.
End part 1
Thanks, Trace (part 2)
Natalie was mortified! The last person she wanted to see her dressed like this was standing right behind her. She glanced over at Tracy, looking for a clue to how Nick felt about it, since she couldn't see his face yet.
Tracy was a little worried when she heard Nick's voice coming from behind her, afraid he'd be furious. After all it all this had really been her idea, both coming to the Raven and Nat's new image. She turned around and what she saw eased her mind. Judging from the look on her enigmatic partner's face, he didn't even realize she was
there. "Or anyone else for that matter," she snickered to herself.
Natalie saw the amused look on Tracy's face and realized she'd get no help there, and Vachon was too intimidated to be of any use. Without turning, she did the only thing she felt she could, and reached to
put on her coat. Nick's hands stopped her.
"Don't," he commanded, the lust he felt now evident in the roughness of his voice. Then he turned her to face him.
"Nick, I..." Natalie started.
"Shhh..." he breathed, pulling her to him, crushing her lips with his.
He thrust his cool tongue into her warm mouth while Tracy, Vachon, and quite a few others stared in amazement.
Nick broke the kiss and looked around, daring any of the others to make a move on this woman. Although a few had been tempted before Nick had so obviously claimed her as his, they decided that it wasn't a good idea. It just wasn't smart to anger a man whose temper was only matched by his sire's. "You look incredible," he said, his
voice gravelly with the vampire. "Why don't we get out of here... maybe go to the loft?"
Natalie decided that she'd suffered for several years and it was time to make Nick squirm a little, although not too much. "Not yet,
Nick, I promised I'd have a drink here with Trace, and I *can't* break my word."
Nick was shocked! He had been sure would she feel the same way he did, but here she was, telling him *no*! "But... But Nat," he stuttered.
Tracy started to tell Nat that it was okay, they'd have a drink another time, but then she saw the look in Nat's eyes and bit back a laugh. Obviously, Natalie had a vicious streak. This relationship was going to be interesting!
Seeing the determination in her eyes he sighed and gave in. "Oh all right." They all sat down, Tracy and Vachon on one side, Nick and
Nat on the other. Natalie made sure to allow various body parts to brush against him as they sat, and Nick concentrated on keeping his beast under control. After all, he didn't want to have to deal with Tracy finding out that not only did he believe in vampires, he was one!
Feeling impish, Nat took her time on her drink then ordered another, laughing and talking with the other couple, while Nick stared at her, trying hard to look like he wasn't. Feeling exultation she decided that it was time to see how far she could push him, knowing that he was already close to breaking. Standing as if to go, she *accidentally* dropped her keys and bent at the waist to retrieve
them as Nick leaned forward, also intending to pick them up. This gave him a clear view down her tank top.
That was it, he'd had enough! When he saw her in those tight pants and even tighter shirt he'd wanted her, when she was sitting next him allowing her warmth to touch him he'd wanted her even more, but this... He looked into her eyes, allowing her to see the golden flecks in his eyes and the tips of his fangs protruding from beneath
his lips. "We'll go now," he stated in a low growl that only Natalie and
Vachon, with his vampire senses, could hear. Swallowing hard, a little nervous, Natalie nodded.
Vachon sensed the beast rising up in Nick and noticed how intensely Tracy was watching Nick and Nat. He decided that if he didn't distract Trace, both he and a certain blond vampire would have a *lot* of explaining to do! "Trace, you wanna dance?" he asked.
Tracy was about to say no, but the song was a slow one and she realized it would mean prolonged physical contact with her Spaniard. "Why, I'd love to," she responded, eyes glazing over at the thought of the possibilities presented.
"Um... We're going to go now. Nick's going to give me a ride," Natalie said to them.
"I'll bet he is!" Vachon murmured as Tracy was saying good-bye. Normally Nick would have overheard him and taken offense, but he was definitely distracted. However Tracy *did* hear and as Nick and Nat
left, she slapped his arm. "OW!" he exclaimed.
"I know that didn't hurt, so don't even try. I can't believe you said that!"
"You know it's the truth!"
"Well, then it's about time! Nick's my friend and a great partner, but he forgets Nat's a woman."
"He remembered tonight! You know, on second thought why don't we skip the dance?" he suggested, suddenly remembering that Tracy was also a
woman. "We can go back to my place and maybe you could kiss my arm
and make it feel better." He said the last with a slight leer.
"Your arm?" she asked, her heart rate increasing slightly.
"Or whatever," he said with a grin.

Nick and Nat left the Raven, Nick making sure to walk with her in front of him. When they got to the Caddy he turned her, leaning her against the car, and kissed her passionately, his hands wandering under her long coat, which she had put on but not buttoned. As her heart rate increased, it encouraged him and his hands began wandering to places she would rather not have explored in public. "Nick!" she gasped, breaking the kiss. "We're in a parking lot."
Nick growled softly as she broke away from his lips. When her words finally sank into his brain, he looked around and noticed that the parking lot wasn't nearly as crowded as it had been when he arrived.
The area around his car was empty, and it was very dark. He nodded, and opened her car door.
Natalie noticed the strange expression on his face as he helped her into the Caddy. As he got in on his side and started the car, watching her out of the corner of his eye, she wondered what he was up to. As the car warmed up he turned to her, taking her in his arms.
"I missed you," he rumbled.
"I missed you too, Nick," she said.
"You drove me insane in there, do you realize that?"
"Yeah, I know. I was trying to!" she giggled.
"So it *was* intentional. Obviously, Doctor, you don't realize the danger of the game you play," he said with a serious expression, belied by the twinkle in his eyes.
"Oh? And just what kind of danger have I put myself in?"
"*This* kind!" he responded and began kissing her again. She hadn't put on her seatbelt and he began pushing her coat off, certain the
car was warm enough now.
Nat responded to his kiss, opening her mouth and meeting his tongue with hers. She was lost to the need he created in her when she realized her had removed her coat and was now sliding his hand up her top as he began to recline them in the front seat. She broke the kiss, chest heaving. "Nick... We're in public!"
"No, Nat, not really. We're in a dark, deserted corner of a parking lot, inside my car. No one can see us, and no one cares. I meant it when I said you drove me insane. I can't wait; I don't want to wait. I want you right *now*!"
Nat smiled secretly as Nick spoke. Although she hadn't known he would come home early from his trip, she certainly was happy about the outcome, and the teasing had been fun too! 'I'll have to remember to thank Trace later for bringing me here,' she thought, just before Nick's hand reached her hardened nipple. As he did he managed to slide Nat onto her back.
Nick couldn't believe how Natalie had managed to demolish his control!
Here he was in the front seat of his Caddy, in the parking lot of the Raven about to ravish the luscious body of a very beautiful, obviously
willing, woman and he didn't even care! In fact, the possibility of someone seeing was adding to his excitement. His fingers began to
caress and play with her breasts causing her to moan with pleasure. Wanting to see as well as touch her, he pushed her shirt up and stared
at her heaving chest then began to suckle one hardened peak, before moving to the other.
Nat was also beginning to feel the added thrill of someone catching them. Her thong panties were almost soaking as she thought of Nick being inside of her soon. She began to squirm under him and she reached for the buttons on the front of his silk shirt. She managed to get most of the buttons undone, but couldn't reach them all, so
Nick reluctantly pulled away from her to finish the job. As he removed his shirt, her heart rate escalated with the knowledge that
he was now halfway to being naked, and she was halfway to seeing the one part of him she wanted to see most.
Nat's scent and her elevated heartbeat called to Nick. Growling, his hands moved to her leather boots, removing them so he could get her out of those pants, hoping it was possible to do so in the close confines of the front seat of a car. As tight as they were, he was afraid he'd have to tear them off, but if that was the only way to get
them off so be it. He was sure that Nat wouldn't mind, and if she did he'd just have to find *some* way to make her forgive him! 'That
could be fun too!' he thought, finding the idea intriguing. Somewhat to his disappointment, the garment was relatively easy to remove, and there she now lay, clad only in a black silk thong and her shirt, which he'd, pushed out of the way. He reached for his jeans.
As Nick turned his attention to his own clothing, Nat finished removing her top. Hearing a zipper being pulled, she watched as Nick pulled down his jeans, then his boxers. Her eyes widened and she was flooded with moisture as she stared at his throbbing manhood, licking her lips, wishing they were somewhere that allowed her room to do a
little exploring.
Nick saw Nat's reaction to his disrobing and swiftly moved to take off her panties. Her scent filled the car and his mouth began to water
as his fangs began to throb. His fingers moved to caress her then entered her slick opening, his thumb massaging her swollen clit as he made sure she was ready for him. Even though his brain was fogged
with lust and need, he loved her and wanted to be sure he didn't hurt her.
She was so wet, so ready, and she thought she'd go insane if he didn't enter her soon. She felt his fingers and thumb caressing her but
that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted his hard cool shaft pounding into her, pushing them both to and over the brink into orgasm. She wanted him to take her blood and bond them for eternity. She wanted him to *feel* her love for him, all of him. She wanted them to join and become whole. Nick shifted and Natalie held her breath.
After a few seconds Natalie realized that Nick had pulled away from her. "What... What's wrong, Nick?" she asked, afraid he'd changed
his mind.
"I'm making a little more room," he told her. "In case you haven't noticed, while there's plenty of room to sit up here, there's not
much room for strenuous activity. I don't want to be distracted by the feel of a steering wheel pressing into my back... or whatever," he explained as he found the lever that would allow the front seat to be
moved back. "Finally!" The lever released with a jerk and a twang, and suddenly there was a lot more room. "Now, where was I?" he asked with a gleam in his golden eyes.
"Right about here I think," Natalie replied as she pulled him down on top of her and wrapped her legs around his.
"Mmmm, that's a start, but I had something else in mind... say this," he said, then slid deeply inside her. They both moaned at the contrast between his coolness and her heat. Nick immediately began pumping in and out and Natalie met him thrust for thrust. Soon they were both panting and Nat was covered in a fine sheen of
perspiration. Nick was thrusting hard and fast and his eyes had gone from golden to red as the beast began demanding a taste of Natalie, which only added to Natalie's excitement. Then he raised up on his knees and,
continuing to move in and out of her, again began caressing her clit with his thumb. The added stimulation was too much and she felt her orgasm sweep over her. She screamed Nick's name as she fell over the edge into ecstasy.
When Nick felt Natalie contracting around his manhood, he leaned over, turned her head to the side and slid his fangs into the vein in her throat, saying a prayer that he would stop in time. As the first drops of her blood touched his tongue, he joined her in bliss as his cold semen flowed into her warmth. As he continued to suck at the wounds he explored her life and thoughts. Her pain and losses broke
his heart, her joys were his, and her love for him touched him like nothing ever had before. He broke away, licking the last bit of blood on her neck, long before she began to weaken.
Nat felt a momentary pain when Nick's fangs first entered her, but the pleasure she felt when he began to take her blood made her forget about it. As Nick could see into her soul, she could now also see into his, and what she saw made tears come to her eyes; tears of sadness for all he'd suffered and tears of happiness when she felt
his love for her. When she felt him pull away she cried out her disappointment, wanting to maintain the intimate bond.
Nick knew what she was feeling and held her close as she came to grips with all she was feeling, both her own emotions and the pictures and emotions she had received from him. She tightened her arms around him
to let him know she was okay, and he lifted up on his elbow to look at her. "Better now?" he asked.
"Um huh, I just didn't expect it to be so... intense. That was the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced."
"Me too, Nat..." he trailed off.
"What?" she asked. She could feel he wanted to say more.
"Well... I know sometimes I'm not very good at saying what I mean... what I feel, but Natalie, I love you." There, he'd *finally* managed to get it out after all this time and he suddenly felt giddy with happiness.
"I know, Nick. I love you too." She smiled as tears ran down her cheeks.
They held each other a few more moments before they simultaneously decided it might be a good idea to get redressed, just in case. As Nick handed Nat her discarded pants he asked, not sure how to phrase his question, "Nat, I... um... I was wondering, were did you come by that outfit?"
"Well, Nick, it's a long story. Blame your partner, she picked it out and she's the one who coerced me into wearing it."
"Tracy?" he asked in a surprised voice.
"Yes, Tracy. Why?"
"Just wondering... How much do you think it would cost me to get her to pick out your entire wardrobe?" he teased.
"Nick!" she exclaimed as she slapped his arm.
He rubbed his arm then started the Caddy, pulling out of the lot. "Remind me to thank Trace later."
"We can thank her together, much later."
"Much, much later," Nick agreed with a smile as he headed toward the loft, where a large bed with lots of room, and no steering wheel, awaited them.
The End
